POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Executive is responsible for successful management of franchised agency relationships regarding placement of accounts. This position evaluates submissions and determines the best course of action for obtaining competitive quotes within required timeframes. An Account Executive must have knowledge of various lines of insurance and the ability to juggle multiple carrier relationships with diverse appetites. Great communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines is vital for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage franchised agency relationships and the placement of their accounts.
- Manage relationships with carrier underwriters and marketing staff
- Respond to inquiries from agency staff regarding available markets
- Market submissions:
- Pre-qualify submissions with knowledge of available carrier appetites
- Review applications and gather missing information required for a complete submission
- Negotiate with carrier underwriters
- Analyze quotes received against required coverages
- Present quotes to agency with recommendations
- Rate accounts in carrier system as required
- Gather binding documents and place coverages with carriers
- Review new policies for accuracy and distribute accordingly
- Set up new policies in AMS once bound
- Prepare invoices as needed on agency/broker billed policies
- File surplus lines taxes and fees via WillComply when applicable

- Commercial P&C License
