Lutheran Life Communities Lutheran Home is seeking a Unit Manager to join our team!

Plans, organizes and controls nursing services to residents including preparation of care plans and MDS input, supervises nurse, CNA and other staff on unit.

Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel on shift and participates in performance evaluation/discipline process.
• Provides resident care by scheduling and supervising nursing and related services and personnel assigned to the unit.
• Maintains continuum of care by making rounds to each resident, receiving reports on the status of all residents and services, visiting residents, assisting nurses with new and unusual treatment.
• Supports attending physician and processes physician’s orders.

Unit Manager Requirements

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing.
