UPHOLSTER/RE-UPHOLSTER
Roles and Responsibilities:
Upholster furniture from raw frames
- Re-upholster existing furniture
- Cutting
- Extremely detailed work (strait seams, upholstering with patterned material, making sure everything is centered %100)
- Skills to pattern, sew, and apply materials
- Follow directions on work orders
- Stay on task to meet deadlines
- Make sure workroom stays clean and organized
- Must be able to work with all kind of textile - leather and fabric
Education and/or Experience Required
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Must have experience with a wide range of product types including chairs, pillows, and fabric paneling
Will be required to lift up to 75 lbs and carrying 40 lbs
Great attitude and ready for a challenge - Willing to learn and grow with the company - Able to work in a fast paced environment
Background in upholstery/furniture design required
