Freedom Homecare is looking for a dependable & safe Van Driver who is a certified care provider (CNA/HCA).
This position requires compassion, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent time management. The driver will transport clients to various appointments, shopping trips, social and/or recreational outings and special events throughout King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.

Duties Responsibilities:
- Maintain the care & cleanliness of the van
- Arrive for pick-up's in a timely manner
- Operate ADA compliant wheelchair lift/ramp equipment, be able to push or pull clients in or out of the vehicle. Use specially outfitted seat belts and straps to secure wheelchairs during transportation.
- Transport client in the safest manner possible, both while operating client equipment and when operating vehicle
- Maintain all clients belongings and paperwork as needed
- Provide a report of client care to receiving facility staff is applicable
- Conduct daily safety inspection of the van; inspect the interior, exterior, report mechanical malfunctions or other problems as required.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports related to vehicle operation and condition; maintain routine records of mileage
- Maintain good working relationships with facility staff, medical personal, and citizens
Required license/certification:
- Driver's license
- Clean driving record
- CNA or HCA license
- CPR/First Aid certified
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
$21-$25/hour
