Vendor Management Analyst
POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst for the Operations Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Department to work from home or in a hybrid environment based on mutually agreed to office location. The Vendor Management Analyst will work closely with Purchasing Agents, Vendor Relationship Managers, Sourcing Analyst, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders at POWER Engineers. In this role the Vendor Management Analyst will leverage their Microsoft Power Bi skills to develop and implement a vendor management program at POWER Engineers that is initially focused on vendor tracking, reporting, and vendor relationship management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include, but may not be limited to:
- Provide support to the different stakeholders and IT systems that contain vendor records and associated vendor files.
- To include: 1. vendor contracts, 2. applicable Vendor Certifications, 3 Vendor Invoices, 4 Vendor Receipts, 5. Vendor Payments, and 4. Vendor Due Diligence documentation
- Vendor Information is contained in the following systems: 1. Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement, 2. Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, 4. Legal Contract Management System (TBD), 5. IT Service Management (TBD), 6. Vendor Risk (TBD). 7. Microsoft SharePoint, and Bentley ProjectWise.
- To include: 1. vendor contracts, 2. applicable Vendor Certifications, 3 Vendor Invoices, 4 Vendor Receipts, 5. Vendor Payments, and 4. Vendor Due Diligence documentation
- This role will leverage data and information form the different IT systems highlighted above to develop and maintain Power Bi reports for stakeholders in the following areas: Cybersecurity,Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE), Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), Procurement, and Accounts Payable.
- Support the ongoing management and development of Power BI Procure to Pay reports, as well as disseminating Operations Sourcing and Procurement Department information, reports, and processes to management and other key stakeholders
- Strategically partner with functional areas and Vendor Relationship Managers for ongoing oversight of vendors
- Review vendor records for expiring or expired documentation and develop business processes, notifications, and reporting for required vendor engagements.
- As requested, support vendor risk analysis; qualification/re-qualification activities.
- As requested, the position will support internal, third-party, and regulatory audits of vendor records
Required Education/Experience:
- Actively working towards a bachelor’s degree, or 2 years’ Vendor Management experience
- 2 years’ experience developing Power BI reports
- Analyzes data and identify discrepancies
- Strong technology competency and working knowledge of most Microsoft Office applications
- Self-directed and possess the ability to work independently and balance competing priorities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and managing changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines
- Responsible for having a cooperative and positive attitude toward vendors, employees, clients, and all stakeholders
- Communicates Effectively: Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Desired Education/Experience:
- BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or Equivalent Experience
- Experience working with IT Hardware, Software, and Services suppliers
- Vendor management and Negotiation experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations
- Experience with Easy Vista, Service Now, or other IT Service Management systems
- Experience working with a Finance or Procurement Business Spend Management Platform:
- Experience developing and managing Microsoft SharePoint sites
