Vice President of Addiction Services Job at Seven Counties Services
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensures programs’ compliance with all applicable accrediting and licensing bodies (e. g., Joint Commission, state licensure, OSHA, CARF for ASAM level programs) and various funding source contract requirements (e. g., federal block grants, private insurers). Identifies and seeks new sources of revenue through federal and state grants and private funding sources to support programs’ existing and new programming. Oversees maintenance and improvement of infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective operation of all clinical programming and non-clinical support services. Develops, implements, and maintains complete, comprehensive quality improvement systems for all aspects of clinical and non-clinical operations, including quarterly and annual reporting on progress toward quality improvement and other performance goals.
EDUCATION
- Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, or similar degree.
- Certification and/or Independent license, in appropriate/relavent field
EXPERIENCE
- More than 8 years’ experience as a manager or director in addictions program, including in- patient and outpatient experience
- Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission standards and ability to implement practices to adhere to Joint Commission standards.
- Community relations/organization skills for working collaboratively with other entities to plan, develop, and implement services.
- Advanced knowledge of addictions systems, health care, and local and national standards of best practice.
- Ability to design, fund, implement, and manage addictions programming consistent with best practices.
- Grant-writing ability.
- Budget development and management skills.
