Vice President of Business Development Job at PruittHealth
JOB PURPOSE:
The Vice President of Planning and Development reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Key responsibilities of the role include developing, maintaining, documenting, and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for PruittHealth’s Certificate of Need (CON), development, and M&A initiatives.
The Vice President act’s as the subject matter expert CON within the current legal and regulatory guidelines and industry best practices, have expertise for evaluation and due diligence around development and acquisition opportunities, and lead the Company’s planning and development efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Providing guidance and expertise regarding Certificates of Need (CON) and licensing for new locations. Development and management of communication with state and CMS contacts.
2. A key responsibility of the position is to develop, maintain, document, and execute PruittHealth’ s comprehensive facility development and acquisition plans.
3. Detailed knowledge of CON regulations and other applicable state and federal laws.
4. Develop and strategize new locations with PruittHealth key leadership, including Construction and Development, legal, Accounting and Finance, Talent Acquisition, and others.
5. Initiate/manage RFPs using financial planning, modeling, and analysis in order to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
6. Manage all capital planning (short and long term) for Development and expansion initiatives
7. Liaison with all company operations, providing explanations and interpretations of all planning and development stages.
8. Ensures that accurate information is provided on a timely basis and assists, as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- PeopleSoft and or similar ERP system knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Office: Excel/PowerPoint
- Evaluate current reporting and process improvement
- Policies/Procedures for general ledger and related maintenance
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 7-10 years of experience in finance and planning (at least 5 in managerial role), preferably within healthcare or real estate industries
- Significant project management experience
- Ability to drive a culture of initiative-taking, responsive, high quality financial planning and analysis
- Master’s degree in business administration or similar strongly preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in healthcare industry
