Paint - Airbrush Artist

Candidate must have highly stable work history. This is a deal breaker

Position starts out as Temp but the intent is to Hire on Permanent after 480 hours (< 90days). Great Benefits once hired permanently.

Difficult to find airbrush artists here. We generally start individuals out learning how to bodywork/prep the carousel figures. Based on experience or abilities, we may try them as a painter. I look for artistic individuals which could relate doing ceramics, sculpting, canvas painting, mural painting, etc. High attention to detail in this position.

Primary Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Bodyworking carousel figures and other parts of amusement rides
• Applying bondo/fillers, masking, sanding, and other prep duties
• Use of hand and power tools
• Base and clear coating figures/parts
• Use of airbrush to paint carousel figures, scenery, and other parts of rides
• High attention to detail pride in craftsmanship
• Must be able to multi-task, stay productive and work well with other team members
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Skills/Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of airbrush painting and fiberglass bodywork experience
• Ability to work within deadlines, follow verbal instructions and work independently and with a team
• Great attention to detail and thorough inspection of work
• Individuals must be reliable and punctual with the ability to work day shift and OT, as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator physical and fit test, drug screen and background check
