Job purpose

The Warehouse Associate position serves an essential role in the everyday operations at Applejack Wine & Spirits. The warehouse associate position is responsible for inventory control including receiving and transferring product as well as maintaining and organizing the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide Excellent Customer Service

• Greet all Customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
• Handle customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain accurate receiving and warehouse operations
• Quickly and accurately address case calls
• Maintain inventory levels
• Complete transfers completely and accurately
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing laws and regulations
• Communicate with drivers and vendors to ensure efficient delivery of products
• Contribute to the team effort and align with company procedures and goals

Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Perform general maintenance of machinery used in warehouse
• Respond to damaged and broken product cleanup calls
• Always adhere to safety standards

General

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• Motivated team player
• Warehouse logistics experience preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Basic computer skills
• Dress and present self in a clean and professional manner
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
