Position Overview:
The Harris Products Group is looking for a warehouse associate to join the team. In this role, you will process customer orders for shipment efficiently and accurately. With a strict focus on safety, you will operate material handling equipment and other machinery required to do that job per established safety procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this position are:
Trained to pick, pack and process customer orders- Loads and unloads trucks as needed
- Operates all machinery required to do the job in accordance with established safety procedures
- Inspects material handling equipment prior to use
- Maintains packaging supplies for the packing area
- Assists in keeping the warehouse area neat and orderly
- May be cross-trained in other Warehouse functions
- Operates material handling equipment
Qualified candidates should demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and possess the following:
A High School Diploma or GED, one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.- Excellent attendance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
- Ability to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra
