Currently, we are seeking a customer-oriented individual for our Columbia, MO location to support our ongoing priority of assuring excellent customer relations.

The Warehouse /Driver position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by delivering electrical supplies promptly and courteously while using excellent driving habits. This position will predominately work in the Warehouse but drive on occasion when needed.

This role will report to the Branch Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

· Receives orders using and RF Gun from Warehouse Supervisor and reads order to ascertain catalog number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise.

· Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves using a bar coded system.

· Picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.

· Maintaining acceptable efficiency rates of both quantity of products pulled as well as accuracy.

· Maintaining bin/shelf integrity by keeping pulling areas clean of debris (empty cartons, box tops, etc) and by keeping product organized on shelf.

· Carries or transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged properly.

· Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.

· Maintains material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting battery to recharging station at the end of shift.

· Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.

· May assist in placing incoming items in inventory

· May work additional hours to ensure the job assignment is complete

· Performs additional duties as directed

· Deliver material to our customers in company vehicle.

· Able to communicate well with customers.

· Able to solve customer problems professionally.

· Familiar with an electronic delivery manifest system

· 40 Hour work week (Monday – Friday) with O/T possible

Desired Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree preferred.

· Excellent driving record,

· 3-5 years’ experience in local delivery.

· Excellent team skills.

· Physical capability to lift heavy weights (up to 75 lbs).

· Valid chauffeur’s driver’s license (Class E) OR CDL License.

· Ability to operate a forklift.

· Customer focused attitude

· Ability to work a smartphone,

· PC skills and previous driving, material handling and electrical supply knowledge a plus.
