We work on high profile, cutting edge projects, and we are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Phoenix AZ facility.
Valid driver's icense, safe driving history & physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and strong computer skills (specifically Microsoft Excel, Word & E-Mail) are a must.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for organizing & supervising the warehouse and ensuring materials & equipment are shipped, received and distributed in an efficient manner. This includes receiving incoming shipments and packing & scheduling pick-ups for outgoing material. In addition, the Warehouse Manager supervises the Warehouse Assistant/ Driver.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the business enterprise of Regional Operations as necessary
- Maintain an up to date master computerized material list for the warehouse
- Maintain Test Equipment/ Tool List – track equipment and certifications including Asset Type, Manufacturer, Model & Serial #, Condition and Responsible Employee.
- Working closely with the Operations team to schedule tool delivery, pickup, and maintenance.
- Maintain warehouse organization and upkeep, ensure pallets, racks and bays are labeled properly
- Working closely with CTS' Purchasing Department to facilitate the returns of all returnable materials to vendors assuring accurate information and proper credit to the appropriate project. Keep & update RMA Spreadsheet.
- Order Accountable stock as need from CTS Purchasing department.
- Reconcile Accountable Stock to ensure quantities of materials balance what is on the shelf
- Reconcile and confirm transfers to the job number and match what was taken from stock
- Ship outgoing materials, receive and reconcile incoming material against packing list, file packing slips in job folders, ensure signatures and tracking of incoming and outgoing material segregate and stage incoming and outgoing stock
- Update Bill of Materials (BOM) on google drive spreadsheet
- Coordinate special tool rentals delivery and pick up in a timely manner
- Take precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss
- Complete scheduled warehouse vehicle maintenance (as needed)
- Conduct inventory research at the request of the operations team and during project kick offs
- Maintain a safe working area and work practices
- Oversee drivers schedule, validate deliveries daily and update tracker
- When requested, pick up stock at distributor and/or deliver materials, equipment and tools to job sites.
- Adherence to office building, local, state, and national codes and rules
- Adherence to local and state licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years experience in material management position
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word and Email and a working knowledge of inventory databases.
- OSHA Forklift Certification to operate Forklift.
- Valid Driver's License & an unblemished driving record.
- Physical ability to move pallets with hand jack, climb warehouse ladder, and lift up to 50lbs as-needed.
