Peterson Farms Seed is just 12 miles northwest of Fargo. Although our address is Harwood, we’re located 6 miles north of Mapleton, ND.

We’re looking for people who want to be part of a team, preparing and shipping one of farmers’ most vital inputs – seed. Tasks change day-to-day, so you won’t get bored.

Position Summary

Our ideal candidate is someone who likes working as part of a team and has a great attitude. Warehouse associates are responsible for the movement of seed within our warehouse to include: packaging, inventory control, shipping documents, and loading/unloading trucks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential
• Being a team player is essential
• Warehouse and/or agriculture experience is preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and shipping documents is necessary
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (but not on a regular basis)

Responsibilities

• Participates in regular cycle counts and helps ensure inventory levels
• Participates in warehouse housekeeping to keep a clean inventory environment
• Performs seed packaging tasks and maintains packaging supplies
• Maintains highest level of accuracy with packaging and shipping documentation
• Operates forklift to load and unload trucks
