Website Consultant

Director: Vice President of Web Development
Report to: Web Support Manager

The Website Consultant for the Web Department works directly with clients to help create a successful website. The Website Consultant should have a keen eye for design and enthusiasm for staying up to date on website trends. The Website Consultant does not need to be a web designer to excel in this role. They will interact with clients daily to discuss their website plan and then pass the directions along to the Website
Specialist to put the plan into action.

Job Responsibilities

- Contact customer to discuss website overview
- Gather changes/updates needed for initial website and online store setup
- Discuss website and online store directions
- Discuss website capabilities and cart
- Answer general website questions
- Make basic changes to websites, when needed
- All other duties assigned by management

Requirements

- Minimum of Associates Degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
- Basic Knowledge of Content Management System preferred
- Proficient software skills (MS Office, Photoshop, etc.…)
- Web savvy with an eye for design and detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional, proactive, and positive attitude
