Job Title: Miscellaneous Welder

Summary:

In this role, the associate will perform assembly preparation, tack welds, quality inspection and transportation of various products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

• Welder must be able to receive parts from brake area on rolling tables and transfer to assembly table.
• Welder must be able to peel plastic off parts to prepare for assembly.
• Welder must be able to tack pieces together and place rivets/nuts in parts to prepare for welding.
• Welder must be able to weld parts together using welding torch.
• Welder must be able to screw lids on parts after welding.
• Welder must be able to grind and sand rough edges on parts.
• Welder must be able to perform quality inspection on assembled product.
• Welder must be able to manually transport finished product to shipping or assembly areas utilizing carts.
• Welder must be able to complete quality inspection paperwork and place in shipping pouch.
• Welder must maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow established shop safety rules

Qualifications

• Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.
• Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
• Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
• On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required.
• Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.
• Use simple mathematics.
