Summary
We are seeking an experienced full-time welder fabricator to join our team, primarily welding steel, stainless steel and aluminum. An ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude with a working experience fabricating small to large weldments or similar assemblies from tube, plate, channel, sheet and/or other steel products. The welder fabricators must be able to be able to set-up and operate TIG, MIG and ARC welding equipment, and to utilize various fabrication equipment as necessary to manufacture to print.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under general supervision:
- Operate welding and associated equipment to fabricate and assemble materials to print.
- Operate other fabrication equipment, as required (shear, press, punches, rollers, drills, mills etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specific welding requirements
- Must be able to understand design intent and provide input for producibility
- Maintain welding equipment
- Visually inspect and check welds for conformance to blueprints and specifications
- Responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of component parts and fixtures as required
- Consistently maintain specific tolerances and accurately perform dimensions
- Maintain a clean, safe, neat and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while working with hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working experience within metal fabrication and manufacturing
- Able to read, write, and speak in standard English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Possess a working knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as required.

Preferred qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years welding experience
- AWS structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum and/or other welder certification
