Wellness Coach Job at Mental Health America
Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio is seeking contracted Wellness Coaches for the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
Who You Are
- Retired or current healthcare workers that have the desire and compassion to assist others within the industry.
- First Responder (retired or currently employed) including fire/EMS, law enforcement and emergency communications.
- Student in their final year of receiving their degree in the focuses of: Counseling, Healthcare and/or Psychology.

What You'll Do
- Coach employees in the health field, including Public Safety workers (hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, first responders) to help them achieve health-related goals and make changes in their lives by providing guidance and accountability.
- Plan and coordinate holistic wellness events and activities.
- Assist in facilitating small group trainings and discussions centered around human wellness and well-being.
- Supporting individuals in their personal wellness plans.
Core Responsibilities:
- Meeting with individuals 1:1
- Providing wellness and goal materials to individuals as needed.
- Collaborating with fellow coaches and supervisor on current and future wellness activities.
- Willing to travel throughout Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati (mileage/expense will be provided).
- Must have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule (able to work 10-32 hours).
- Contractors will be provided technology necessary for contract work.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
