The Wellness Consultant is responsible for providing the best customer service experience by cultivating strong customer relationships based on knowledge and passion for the brand and products. Welcoming customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere and comply with company policies, procedures, city/state regulations and The Parent Company Values
- Welcome every customer into the store with a professional and pleasant disposition
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment
- Assist customers with selecting the products most appropriate for their needs and recommending related products to increase customers' option
- Remain knowledgeable on new and existing products and promotions
- Promoting special sales, offers, daily store goals, KPIs and awareness of store loyalty program
- Keep display cases clean and ensure all product is fully represented and organized
- Maintain professionalism in your appearance, attitude, and communication
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferred
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Environment
- This position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in close proximity with customers and staff.
Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experience
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or San Jose Police Department.
