Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care (SACC) program is hiring summer day camp counselors for Summer 2023 at schools in Brentwood, College Grove, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill
Overview
- We are looking for people who enjoy working with elementary age children
- Shifts available Monday-Friday between 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, 6 -8 hour shifts each day
- Responsibilities include leading activities, overseeing up to 20 children, handling basic redirection and discipline
- Need to be available to work between May 22 - August 4, 2023
- Pay starts at $14.28 up to $18.02 an hour, based on experience
Duties
Day Camp Counselors assist with leading activities and going on field trips.
Responsibilities
- Engage in fun, safe and enriching experiences elementary age children
- Lead up to 20 children in group games, recreation and enrichment activities
- Assist with basic first aid
- Provide redirection and discipline
- Supervise up to 10 children on weekly off-site field trips
- Follow licensing safety procedures and guidelines
- Have fun!
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Satisfy criminal background check
- Child care experience
