a. Deploy Microsoft Defender to all server and virtual machines
b. Enable real-time protection: Ensure that real-time protection is enabled to detect and prevent malware from executing.
c. Schedule regular scans: Schedule regular scans to ensure that all systems are checked for malware and vulnerabilities.
d. Document all exclusions for all servers
e. Configure exclusions f. Configure reports
g. Maintain Microsoft Defender and ensure systems and policies have the latest protection against emerging threats
h. Use endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities: Utilize the endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities to investigate and respond to security
