We are seeking a Crew Leader/Laborer to supervise, organize and direct the woodyard and deliveries. The Crew Leader must make sure that assigned tasks are completed properly and be responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. We're looking for someone who can supervise employees and complete projects/deliveries in an efficient manner by keeping a positive attitude and working well with others. This position is for someone who is willing to grow with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting firewood
- Splitting firewood
- Operate firewood processor
- Operate forklift, excavator, backhoe, and skid steer
- Packing firewood
- Delivering firewood
- Work with other divisions in the company as a driver and various labor work
- Perform DVIR inspections daily prior to using any truck and/or equipment.
- Keep trucks and equipment neat and clean
- Report any problems with the truck and/or equipment to the manager.
- Pack and label wood
- Track inventory
The starting pay is $15-$20 an hour based on experience.
