1st Shift Welder Job at Shaffer Manufacturing

We are currently looking for welders for our Shaffer Manufacturing company located in Urbana Ohio.
Candidate must be highly skilled in ARC, MIG, and TIG welding. Responsibilities include the following for the production welding and fabrication of metal shapes or articles and the repair of metal objects. Also included may be layout work, cutting with a cutting/plasma torch and preparatory grind and polish. Welding activities requiring a moderate to high degree of welding skill. Welders must have a high degree of manipulative skill and be able to work from complex source documents with a minimum of supervision. Must have a thorough knowledge of the function of the welded items and be able to determine the workability of the completed item. They may also perform troubleshooting and rework.
