WHAT DOES THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE DO?

IMS is currently seeking an Account Executive in the Branded Merchandise Department. We are seeking a professional who will be highly responsive and accountable for managing activities associated with custom order projects and programs that meet internal and external objectives. This position works closely with the Account Team and internal and external stakeholders. Candidate must be acclimated to working in a high touch and fast paced environment.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver superior service to clients
  • Work with Account Team to request merchandise quotes, prepare sales proposals and presentations
  • Upload and monitor submissions to client's legal, creative, and safety review site and help facilitate and track product safety testing as needed
  • Assist with the placement of custom orders and completion of internal program forms and spreadsheets
  • Be liaison between Account Team and vendors or IMS purchasing team to monitor existing programs to ensure on time delivery of products to IMS warehouse for fulfillment and shipping/delivery to client
  • Assist with preparation of templates for bulk orders and upload to IMS system
  • Proactive resolution for client issues or concerns
  • Provide follow up support for other team members and assist in various special assignments as needed

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; higher-education degree preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in agency, ASI, or marketing services industry
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests
  • Light travel may be required
  • Proficient in Spanish a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
