Summary

The Accounting Specialist assembles information for a variety of recurring reports and analyses. The ultimate result of this job is to assist Corporate accounting in ensuring accurate internal and external reporting and reconciliation of internal financial data.

Essential Functions

• Financial reporting and accounting support for Corporate Accounting, including month-end journal entries.
• Financial reporting responsibility for the companies reporting segments
• Debt accounting and technical support for processing issues as needed
• Reconcile and record interest expense for month-end close

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or in relevant area

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $48K to $55K.
