Position Title: OPS HR Administrative Assistant
Location: 8323 NW 12TH ST. MIAMI, FL 33126
Pay Rate: Full-Time - $21/hr.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the management teams setting up panel interviews for all applicants and screening applicants. Verifies that required verbiage is stated on the advertisement. Independently arranges interview panels, schedule applicants booking conference rooms and ensures all interview documentation is appropriate and provided on the day of the interview (interview questions, work samples, printed applications, etc.)
- Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process.
- Assist and participate in Job Fairs for vacancy promotions.
- Administrative/clerical assistance
- Send out email reminders for HR related actions to DOH staff.
- Print out ID badges and replacements.
- Generate reports and keep track of appointments, scheduling, follow ups for recruitment processes.
- Handle multiple calls and follow ups for HR on-boarding processes such as background checks and requesting forms needed.
- Assist with scanning, making copies and emailing necessary documentation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and personnel information systems
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Skills and Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications such as Excel, Word, Visio and power point
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
· Professional or nonprofessional experience in training, education, staff development, personnel or an agency program area can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
OPS Positions do not qualify for PTO, Sick Leave, and paid holidays.
