Administrative Assistant

Status: Part-Time
Salary: $11.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Know How:
The position requires a high school diploma and one (1) years’ responsible clerical skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required. The position requires excellent proven communication skills and efficient management of a multi- filing, paper and electronic.. The efficient use of a computer is required with skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Skilled usage of common office equipment is required.
Principal Activities:
1. Performs simple and complex clerical duties including word processing, typing, filing and other administrative support functions.
2. Assists in preparing routine and special reports.
3. Manages the coordination of assigned meetings.
4. Assists with timely management of data tracking systems
5. Responsible for maintenance of comprehensive filing system, including but not limited to office correspondence, private provider/contractor files, as assigned.
6. Answers telephone in a professional manner, provides or directs information to appropriate staff.

3. Provide accurate and timely records for the organization.
Language skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribe style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
