The Agency Development and Relationship Manager will achieve the overall strategic sales goals of AFM. Tasked with creating and maintaining business relationships with the independent agents, this person will identify opportunities and capture market share while spearheading the growth of business in the North Carolina market.
Develop Agency Footprint
- Identify and recruit new agents and build new & profitable business relationships
- Manage agency appointments/cancellations to market company products and services
- Develop tools to communicate products to agency force
- Provide exceptional customer service assistance to our agents
- Attendance at state and local industry conferences
Manage Agency Performance
- Achieve objectives for production and profitability, including objectives related to written premium, retention, and service
- Develop internal agency profile
- Developand communicate agency performance metrics
- Achieve objectives for production and profitability, including objectives related to written premium, retention, and service
Oversee Agency Management Issues
- Manage Agency Appointment Process
- Initial application, regulatory appointment, E&O insurance requirements
- Work with Agents on IWS system related issuesDevelop internal agency profile
Develop Advertising & Promotional opportunities
- Promoting the company’s brand
Coordinate Product Development
- Assist the President in developing future product lines tocapture market share
