Position Description:

The candidate will be able to confidently code and organize the application using best practices while helping to share their knowledge with the team and grow the teams' skills and understanding of robust AI/ML applications

Your future duties and responsibilities:
  • Define and code the ongoing architecture and development of an emerging application
  • Code and organize the application using best practices
  • Teach team and grow the teams' skills and understanding of robust AI/ML applications
  • Participate in all phases of an Agile software development lifecycle, including application design/requirements
  • Creative and detail oriented web application developer
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence Engineer
  • Experience with coded, deployed and implemented production use cases
  • Participate in daily team discussions and code collaboration to promote continuous progress
  • Participate in client, industry, and end-user discussions and provide the technical viewpoint on the application
  • Participate in technical design sessions to create sustainable, high-performing features and provide accurate estimates and development timelines
  • Continuous improvement of existing development tools and technologies
  • Augment and Improve system architecture

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • 7 years strong experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, or etc.
  • Experience with data structures, data modeling and software architecture.
  • Ability to write robust code in Python.
  • Proficient in machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow or PyTorch and libraries like scikit-learn is mandatory.
  • Proficient with computer vision algorithms specifically in object detection. Ability to train single and multiple classes, knowledge in multiple algorithms is a plus
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning the model using test results
  • Deploy the machine learning models using flask, fastapi and ensuring the scalability
  • US Citizenship required per government stipulation

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,400.00 to $204,600.00
