We are currently looking for Appointment Schedulers. The schedule is Monday Through Friday 8-4:30PM.

OCB Appointment Schedulers are responsible for:

  • Answering a high volume of calls in a professional and courteous manner for a multi-provider and multiple location practice.
  • Obtaining proper information from patients when scheduling appointments such as demographics and insurance information.
  • Obtaining all necessary information to facilitate the admission process in an efficient and timely
  • Handling both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships leading to higher level of productivity and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • Covid Vaccine; must provide Vaccination card prior to start
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple schedules
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle all calls in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Excellent and professional customer service skills with a high level of patience in dealing with patients in a high call volume environment
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous call center experience is a plus
