UNITE HERE is a labor union that represents 300,000 working people across Canada and the United States. Our members work in the hotel, gaming, food service, manufacturing, textile, distribution, laundry, transportation, and airport industries. Our membership is diverse. UNITE HERE Local 23 is looking for individuals who are passionate about fighting for justice for service industry workers to join us for our organizing apprenticeship. Start date is flexible (though sooner is better). Organizing experience neither required nor preferred. Good candidates will be both flexible and dedicated. This apprenticeship will train you on basic and advanced organizing skills through shadowing and close work with our staff organizers. You will learn to organize people to stand up for their rights and build worker-led committees to take on multi-national corporations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Austin, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
