Area Management Specialist - Sacramento Job at Mercy Housing Management Group
We are looking for an Area Management Specialist for our Sacramento properties. The Area Management Specialist/Manager will provide leadership and expertise to multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and can work independently. You will travel to multiple properties in and be the on-site subject matter expert on efficient property management operations. Understand One-Site, HUD/tax credit compliance and occupancy requirements for Affordable Multifamily Housing. You will lead the site team on Fair Housing and Tenant Compliance practices, rent collection, occupancy levels, direct and prioritize property maintenance needs and provide amazing customer service to residents.
Pay: $27.00 - 30.00 /hour

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and Tenant laws.
- Experience being accountable for financials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in property or affordable housing management.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative, accounting, customer service, and/or supervisory experience.
- Previous housing or property management experience including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
