About the Position

The Area Manager is a vital position at Scenthound, responsible for the continued performance and success of our first location in Charleston as well as our additional locations in the area (second location scheduled to open Q4 2023).

We are searching for a confident manager who leads with integrity, honesty, and compassion. A successful Area Manager is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can manage the day-to-day operations of the Scenter with emphasis on critical KPIs.

Who We Are Looking For

• Management experience (multi-unit preferred)
• Customer service experience (retail, restaurant, gym)
• Strength to lift up to 60 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

Tasks

• Drive membership sales
• Schedule optimization
• Achieve KPI goals such as LER, Average ticket price, rebook rate, etc.
• Create and maintain a culture that prioritizes dog health and wellbeing above all else
• Create an environment conducive to teamwork, open communication, and Scenthound values
• Create a pipeline of talent through interviewing/hiring/training of new employees as well as internal development of existing employees
• Uphold quality standards, manage client expectations, resolve customer concerns
• Ensure clear and effective communication with Upper Management
• Identify when/ where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
• Get so many puppy kisses every day!!

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
