We're looking for a driven, forward-thinking and detail-oriented professional with an eye for safety to work as an Asbestos Manager at our organization. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the risks associated with asbestos and be familiar with a variety of legal regulations, industrial practices and professional guidelines. A successful Asbestos Manager will perform a variety of tasks such as monitoring and reporting on asbestos activity throughout the company, and will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the inspection of buildings for asbestos.
- Manage and coordinate the removal of asbestos from buildings.
- Manage and coordinate demolitions of buildings that contain asbestos.
- Manage and coordinate the demolition of buildings that contain asbestos within the time-frame required by law.
- Manage the disposal of asbestos-containing waste.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
