Summary job description:-

This role support builds of prototype medical devices and develops related processes. The position is responsible for fabrication of medical devices as per work instructions and work order deviations. The technician will be responsible for completing and maintaining batch records for builds. Minimal work in inventory control and tracking will also be required. The work includes manual, some semi automated builds and automated processes.

1. Prototype Builds:

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Build devices per written protocol and approved deviation.

Ability to follow work instructions and operate semi complex equipment, as necessary

Ability to run automated equipment, perform setups, troubleshooting and components exchange

Complete and maintain work orders paperwork.

Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed.

Delegate Operators tasks

2. Inventory Control and Tracking:-

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation.

Organizational:

must have good organizational, documentation and problem solving skills.

must be a self- starter with capability of working under minimal supervision; delivering on goals and quotas as assigned.

must be able to quickly learn how to assemble numerous and various assemblies.

must be able to read and write English, and follow instructions written in English.

must be disciplined to arrive to work on time.

must be willing to identify and communicate Quality or Safety issues immediately.

must have experience with automated equipment, able to follow machine setup instructions, batch changes and machine maintenance

must have work experience in clean room environment and medical device production

Technical:-

The incumbent must have hands on experience working in a manufacturing environment.

The incumbent must have experience working on minor mechanical trouble shooting issues.

It is preferred that the incumbent have experience with micro scale assembly.

It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working in GMP regulated environments.

It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working with automated equipment.

Functional:-

The incumbent has computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
