Hours for this position are 6pm to 6am (2-2-3 shift pattern).

In charge of the bottle filler and capper, decasing process, and/or case packing operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold safety regulations.

  • Run, upkeep, changing parts and installation of instrument.

  • Report all safety issues, mishaps and near misses.

  • Participate in plant Behavior Based safety program.

  • Keep workspace clear and free of debris.

  • Understand and work with set standards.

  • Ensure Bottling Department reaches daily production goals.

  • Perform equipment alterations.

  • Own the Standard Operating Procedure for the bottling line positions.

  • Perform in accordance with standards.

  • Seek ways to upgrade performance and boost quality driven actions.

  • Day-to-day maintenance tasks such as inspection, lubrication, and equipment setup into routine.

  • Create a personal development plan with assistance of Bottling Supervisor.

  • Develop the skills needed to attain the desired career path within the organization.

  • Continually seek ways to enhance performance as measured by departmental Key Performance Indicators.

  • Understand and adhere to all SOPs and best practices to ensure maximum quality standards for bottling lines and customer service.

  • Generate ideas to enhance daily operation of bottling processes.

  • Optimize available resources to constantly improve quality inspections, labeling and general machine operation.

  • Communicate effectively between departments.

  • Satisfy financial objectives by controlling cost and waste.

  • Model behavior around the Sazerac Ideal Team Member Profile.

  • Construct and maintain solid professional working relationships inside and outside the company.

  • Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with company values.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Good physical health. For example; capable of working on your feet, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and squatting.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

  • Good vision and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed

Preferred:

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org

  • 2 years relevant experience (minimum)

  • Requires previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment

You should be proficient in:

  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • Meets Physical Requirements
  • High School / GED
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
