Provide dynamic leadership for the Center for Student Involvement and the Office of Community Living while being highly visible on campus. The Director for Student Involvement and the Executive Director for Community Living will report directly to this position..

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Fully support the mission of Student Life at FSC.

2. Create, expect and deliver superior student experiences from matriculation through degree completion.

3. Build positive relationships with students and parents.

4. Work in partnership with all campus departments.

5. Serve on the on-call rotation

6. Provide vision and motivation for team members.

7. Direct all related departmental operations.

8. Manage the budgets for each of the units.

9. Collaborate to set goals and student learning outcomes.

10. Develop and oversee assessment for areas of direct report.

11. Recruit, educate and supervise team members.

12. Provide appropriate reports.

13. Contribute to the success of the Office of Student Development by performing all other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the College.

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. Preferred Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, or a similar field.

2. Experience in Community Living and/or Student Involvement on a college campus.

3. Knowledge of Greek life on a college campus

4. Bachelor’s degree required.

5. Valid Driver’s License

6. Dynamic leadership, engaging and effective interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to serve college students.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EXCEL.

8. Organize and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision.

9. Demonstrate ethical decision-making, excellent listening skills, fairness in dealing with people, assessment skills, the ability to make decisions in a timely manner, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to motivate staff to excellence and treating all persons with respect.

10. Balance competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and respond to unexpected demands and emergency situations, with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
