Join the Banking Research team that provides forward-looking research and thought leadership in the financial risk arena. Members have diverse backgrounds including finance, economics, econometrics, statistics, engineering, accounting, climate, and mathematics.
HYBRID TO SAN FRANCISCO OR NEW YORK

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting theoretical and empirical research on measurements of portfolio credit risk, market risk, and enterprise risk management
  • Collaborate with researchers and data analysts on projects
  • Implement and test research ideas through prototype and partner with product management and engineering teams to deploy completed research software solutions
  • Present research findings to audiences internally and externally
Master’s or Ph. D. degree in Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Accounting, or a closely related quantitative field
  • Research experience in econometric modeling and/or theoretical asset pricing
  • Experience with programming tools such as Python, Julia, or R
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Other desirable qualifications:
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience with non-traditional data sources

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $90,800 to $151,000 depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
