At Rochelle's Boutiques we are a small business with a big heart. We are a women owned business which first opened 20 years ago and now has 6 thriving boutique locations. We're looking for a motivated, dependable, passionate and hard working store manager to lead our team of stylists and offer our customers a great shopping experience to grow our brand. We have 2 boutique locations in downtown Mystic, CT, one in Newport, RI, one open weekends in the Velvet Mill in Stonington, CT, one in Watch Hill, RI & one in Edgartown, MA.
We are only seeking a hard-working individual who has a strong work ethic and is looking to help us grow our brand. As the store manager, you would be responsible for opening & closing Rochelle’s Boutiques & everything that goes on in between. You must be trustworthy, dependable, positive, outgoing, & enjoy putting looks together. Giving customers a positive atmosphere and experience is an absolute must. Working well with others and being a leader is necessary. A minimum of 3 years retail experience is required. A degree in fashion or business is ideal. You are responsible for everything the stylists/key holders are responsible for with the added responsibility of handling difficult customers, training new employees, and everything it takes to successfully run a small business. As a store manager, you will also do weekly payroll, assist in the store buying, merchandising, purchase orders, marketing and social media. After being full-time for one year you will also have the option to be included in a health insurance match, 401k, paid vacation, and profit sharing.
Daily Tasks:
Greeting every customer who enters the store & feeling comfortable suggesting outfits to customers of all ages by pulling several pieces of clothing, shoes, jewelry, & accessories to complete an outfit
Must be able to be self-driven and thrive in both a solo environment as well as as a leader of a team
Having experience in merchandising store windows, table displays & putting outfits together on mannequins as well as on customers
Being both detail and task oriented & keeping the store organized & looking its best throughout the shift
Being proficient on a computer in order to use a POS system to enter purchase orders, receive, transfer, & track inventory across multiple locations
Ringing out customers in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm & upbeat
Always being aware of theft in the store and monitoring all fitting rooms and merchandise throughout the store to reduce & eliminate shrinkage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
