Assistant Nursing Director -5 STAR FACILITY BEST IN MCHENRY COUNTY! Job at Valley Hi Nursing Home
Valley Hi Nursing & Rehab in Woodstock, IL is looking for a Full Time Assistant Director of Nursing. The Assistant Director of Nursing directs, evaluates, and supervises all resident care and staff. Initiates corrective action as required. Is focused on enhancing and coordinating the resident care and clinical programs and quality scores. Some duties include:
- Assist with the overall management and supervision of the nursing department, clinical programs, and resident care with assistance from 5 OTHER CLINICAL NURSING MANAGERS!
- Evaluate resident care as needed to determine orders and care plan approaches are in place and followed for resident needs, family involvement, and the physician’s plan of care for the resident.
- Assist scheduling coordinator with staff scheduling, floor assignments and monitor the quality of care.
- Oversee rehab and resident clinical programs to ensure resident physical and psycho-social needs are being met and standards are followed.
- Coordinate the Accident and Incident Report investigation and recommendation process.
- Actively participate in leadership training and functions as necessary, including overall supervision of the nursing department.
- Assist in IDPH and other regulatory agency inspections and responding to findings, including maintaining a “survey ready” standard.
- Back up DON when needed.
