Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the analyst provides the full range of associate-level analytical work and is responsible for performing the more independent, varied, and complex technical work within the Research & Evaluation Unit in the Policy, Research, and Legislation Branch. The analyst will work collaboratively with the other Branches within CWDB to troubleshoot data collection and reporting questions and issues that periodically arise from grantees. The analyst will document all data collection and reporting issues that arise at the grantee level. The analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for data collection, reporting, and evaluation metrics for staff from other CWDB branches. For all data collection and reporting troubleshooting questions and issues, formally documenting these troubleshooting questions and issues, and serving as a point-of-contact with other CWDB Branches, the analyst will be guided by the Research Development Specialists (RDS) within the Research and Evaluation Unit in the Policy, Research, and Legislation Branch.
Telework - The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) headquarters is located in Sacramento, CA, however we will consider candidates from nearby areas as remote and/or telework options may be available for this position. Terms of the telework schedule are subject to Branch/Division needs and CWDB policies.
