After immigrating from Mexico at the age of four, and having personally navigated legal issues related to immigration from another country, our firm’s founder, Attorney Talia Barrales, has developed a steadfast commitment to providing top-notch legal services to meet the complex needs of clients who find themselves in similar situations. Since 2013, our team has helped countless immigrants gain lawful status in the US.

Our Culture: We are a small, close-knit team of 20, with a hands-on, team-based approach. We are looking for an experienced Immigration Attorney (3-5 years preferred) that is hardworking, has great attention to detail and will be able to provide the quality of work our clients have come to expect from our firm. Barrales law is passionate about advocacy inside and outside of the courtroom.

Barrales Law supports a work life balance where we encourage our employees to clock out daily at a reasonable time, as well as offer all employees the week between Christmas and New Year's off. We have moved to a revised work week where we close every Friday at 2pm, making us a 34 hour work week office.

Position Summary

Applicant Requirements

  • Admitted to and current member in good standing of the state bar (the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers)
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • 3-5 years of Immigration experience preferred

Skill Requirements

  • Must have strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and establish case strategy
  • Effective communication skills & manage appointment & deadlines
  • Detailed record keeping & legal writing
  • Must be able to provide great quality work
