Summary:
Nisga’a Tek is seeking a Multimedia Developer II to design, create, manipulate and tailor graphics, images, sound, animation, video and text to create integrated multimedia programs using a combination of design skills and technical knowledge of digital products.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
  • Integrate media components in asynchronous, synchronous training products using approved government applications (i.e., captivate, articulate, lectora etc.)
  • Establishes, generates, and maintains tracking of all relevant files, documents, and correspondence relative to requests for and delivery of training.
  • Handles logistics of providing training materials, files, and equipment.
  • Responsible for the testing, certification, and maintenance processes for numerous and varying courses.
  • Processes large volumes of data and performs data reduction and editing, conducts Internet searches to support informational requests.
  • Perform education related technology tasks to include 508 compliance, SCORM compliance (ADL test suite), operability/playability troubleshooting and repair, hosting system compatibility, etc.
  • Performs all functional duties independently.
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Requires some limited programming skills demonstrating functional knowledge of Java, HTML, XML, as it applies to computer-based training design and development.
  • Possess the ability to script animations, scenarios, and games using C#, JavaScript, or similar programming language.
  • Possess the skills in computer animations, embedded games, and building multimedia instruction using Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software for web-based applications and courseware.
  • Experience with graphics and multimedia design and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or a certification
  • 4 -10 years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Certificate or Associates Degree with five (5) years’ experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
