Audiologist (Southern Indiana Physicians) Job at Southern Indiana Physicians
Overview
Fast paced ENT office with 3 doctors and 6 APPs and 2 Audiologists Qualified individual will be able to: Perform diagnostic audiological testing on pediatric to geriatric populations. Perform VNG testing (VNG, rotary chair, VEMP) on adult populations. Counsel and educate patients and family members on hearing loss and hearing related disorders with proper recommended treatment plan. Collaborate with doctors and other Advanced practice providers on treatment plans.
Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in Audiology; or, if foreign trained, graduation from an Audiologist education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires current Audiology license in the State of Indiana. Requires a certificate of clinical competence in Audiology or eligibility for certificate. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
