*Summary*
To assist the Compliance Director and the Product Delivery Director in managing the competency of Audit Team, enhancing the coverage for the service delivery through the development of Standards, EA Code coverage and geographical areas for the Audit Team. Provide support to internal departments, agents and other CB’s (Certifying Bodies) in the effective execution of the service delivery and assisting in the onboarding for new employees.
Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Delivery Director to maintain appropriate technical and professional training and development plans for all auditors ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
• Plan and deliver effective “on-Boarding” process which facilitates the smooth transition of new auditors into working for this organization.
• Supporting and liaising with agency partners and Key Stakeholders for a strong execution of our accreditation strategy with regards to competency.
• Pro-actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant Key Stakeholders.
• Ensure, continual maintenance and improvement, of the following processes for both employed, agency and subcontracted auditors:
• Managing new auditor competency approvals
• Enhancing existing auditor competency
• Monitoring, validating and where appropriate withdrawing existing auditor competency
• Maintain constant vigilance of emerging compliance management system risks and opportunities particularly with regards changing accreditation body requirements and implementation of changes to product/service offerings by Orion minimising risk to the business and ensuring targets are met.
• Provide appropriate reports and performance statistics on Auditor Development programmes as directed by the Compliance Director and Product Delivery Director to support the ongoing development of the team.

Qualifications:

• Ensuring the Competence of Auditors are maintained and enhanced to fulfil the business and client needs.
• Effectively maintaining all documentation relating to auditor competence development ensuring it meets the requirements of ISO 17021.
