Lube Technician

Job Summary

As a Lube Technician, you are responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles while adhering to company standards and following applicable safety measures.

Supervisor

The Lube Technician reports to the Service Manager

Duties

• Perform automotive preventative maintenance such as:
• Changing engine oil
• Rotating tires
• Checking and filling other vehicle fluids
• Replacing filters
• Inspecting lights and wipes
• Test and replace batteries
• Tire repairs
• Promptly and thoroughly advise the Assistant Service Manager (ASM) of any status updates, completed Multi-Point Inspections (MPI) and any additional needs found
• Basic tools to provide all Express Maintenance are supplied by Maplewood Toyota; Clean and secure all tools daily; Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space

Skills & Knowledge

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Reliable, Responsible, and Flexible
• Ability to handle stress and follow direction in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to walk, run, stand, crouch, and bend for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

Previous experience preferred
