South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks student applicants for the position of Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1 in the Automotive Program.

Educational Benefit

Offers hands on experience working in the automotive environment. Improves organizational and record keeping skills.

Schedule Information

Monday's and Wednesday's, and/or Friday Mornings. Flexible around class schedule and other work. 2-4 hour shifts. 2-3 times a week.

Supervisor Information

This position reports directly to the Program Manager for Automotive Technology.

What You'll Do

  • Catalog equipment and supplies for easy acquisitions
  • Organizes shop and office supplies
  • Provide Clerical Support to the department by converting files to digital form
  • Organize outdoor heavy equipment.
  • Break down boxes, packing materials, and other recyclables
  • Separate scrap metals and other automotive materials
  • Maintain the automotive shop
  • Wash Cars

Qualifications You Possess

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to lift/carry items that are 50 lbs+
  • Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic
  • Need to be comfortable working in an industrial environment
