South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks student applicants for the position of Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1 in the Automotive Program.
Educational Benefit
Offers hands on experience working in the automotive environment. Improves organizational and record keeping skills.
Schedule Information
Monday's and Wednesday's, and/or Friday Mornings. Flexible around class schedule and other work. 2-4 hour shifts. 2-3 times a week.
Supervisor Information
This position reports directly to the Program Manager for Automotive Technology.
- Catalog equipment and supplies for easy acquisitions
- Organizes shop and office supplies
- Provide Clerical Support to the department by converting files to digital form
- Organize outdoor heavy equipment.
- Break down boxes, packing materials, and other recyclables
- Separate scrap metals and other automotive materials
- Maintain the automotive shop
- Wash Cars
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to lift/carry items that are 50 lbs+
- Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic
- Need to be comfortable working in an industrial environment
