Bake Shop Production Assistant Job at Kitchen Kettle Foods
Kitchen Kettle Foods at Kitchen Kettle Village is now hiring a part-time Bake Shop Production Assistant. This position will assist in making a variety of delicious baked goods sold throughout the Village, some of which include assorted pies, cookies, fruit breads, whoopie pies, soft pretzel dough, and specialty dessert items. We offer flexible daytime hours and training for eager individuals. ServSafe training also provided.
Some of the essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate ovens, large and small mixers, scales, dough depositor, and all other bake shop equipment.
- Read and understand recipes; follow directions exactly.
- Know location of raw materials and ensure bins are filled daily.
- Follow production schedule for daily baking/mixing tasks.
- Record daily baking and mixing on production sheets.
- Follow daily cleaning schedule and adhere to safe food handling procedures.
- Open and close the bake shop according to checklists.
- Must maintain ServSafe Certification.
- Understand and adhere to safe food handling procedures.
