The Overlook Lodge, located in the heart of Pleasant Ridge, is looking to hire a bartender. We are the first bar opened by Gorilla Cinema Presents, a company motivated by creativity, movies, and pop culture. You might have heard of us as "That Shining Bar", as we are inspired by Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. The Overlook Lodge is entering our eighth year in business, and are looking for an experienced, long-term bartender to join the team. We are a neighborhood bar that specializes in house-made craft cocktails, so cocktail experience is preferred.
This position pays $8-10 an hour plus tips, with bartenders in this position making 47k-50k in 2022. This position is also eligible for benefits (health, vision, dental) and PTO for employees working 35 hours or 4 shifts a week. If you have bartending experience, a good work ethic, an interest in pop culture/cinema, and a desire to be a part of a small but creative team with opportunities for advancement, we encourage you to apply.
