Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summit Therapeutics is looking for a BCBA to join our independent company. Clients are primarily located in the eastern North Georgia area (Gainesville, Cleveland, etc). The ideal candidate must be eager and passionate about working with clients in a very underserved area. We provide in-home, community, and some school based therapy for clients. Our ideal candidate resides in the Eastern Time Zone and will be a full-time Summit employee.

Our BCBAs are required to provide in-person supervision and parent training at least once every 3 months. Telehealth can be utilized for supervision and parent training the other weeks in the quarter.

The BCBA will be responsible for developing treatment plans, RBT supervision, new client assessments, ongoing case management, and other behavior-related tasks. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to help develop our company—innovative ideas are absolutely welcome. Multiple years experience as a BCBA is ideal. Ability to work independently and supervise multiple RBTs is a must.

All insurance credentialing, billing, and RBT scheduling is handled by administration. Summit BCBAs have the flexibility to arrange their own schedules as long as they are meeting their supervision and family training goals. Work-Life balance is very important to our company. All materials and therapy toys/tools are provided by the company.

Pay and other benefits are absolutely negotiable.

BCBA Expectations

Initial Assessments

· To be performed in-person or via telehealth with RBT assistance.

· Report to be completed within 2 weeks of being assigned new client.

Supervision

· Minimum 10% of scheduled hours with a goal of 20%.

· BCBAs are required to provide at least one supervision session per client in person every three months.

Non-Billable Duties

· Creating materials—once designed, admin can print and laminate if needed.

· Communicating with RBTs regarding specific clinical issues outside of session.

· Brief communication with families that is not considered “Family Training”

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
