BILINGUAL ERSEA ASSISTANT Part-time Job at Rock Walworth Comprehensive FA
The Bilingual Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, Attendance (ERSEA) Assistant, at the discretion of the ERSEA Specialist, supports the recruitment, selection/enrollment and attendance of children in Head Start and Early Head Start, with an emphasis on supporting primarily Spanish speaking participant applications and Spanish speaking participating families.
Part Time/Full Year (20 hours per week) at our Beloit site.
This is an hourly position at a rate of pay of $14.75 base rate +.25 bilingual premium.

Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing. Ability to translate Spanish correspondence from families and reply to them in Spanish.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Basic computer skills and it is desirable to have data entry experience.
Ability to perform more than one task at a time.
Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certificates.
Ability to maintain regular daily attendance.
Possess the skill of working as part of a team, working independently, following through on assignments and following directions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years’ experience, preferably in an enrollment capacity or in a human service field or another area that required working closely with the public.
Marketing skills and/or public relations skills/experience helpful.
Formal training in business, computers, and office procedures.
Family Service Credential or must complete successfully within one year of hire. Agency will pay for certification when training become available.
